Whisper Wrap

This simple but beautiful Whisper Wrap celebrates the all-natural softness of the cashmere, silk, and alpaca blend yarn. The yarn has a lovely halo that accents the simple lace pattern. The long rectangle shape falls nicely and wraps around your neck for a soft and stylish accent.

MATERIALS
Yarn Yarn Citizen Trinity Cashmere (49% super baby alpaca, 39% mulberry silk, 12% cashmere; 247 yd (226 m)/25 g; fingering weight); Almond and Peony, 2 balls each.
Needle Size 9 (5.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Stitch holder or waste yarn; spare needle in same size as main needle if using 3-Needle Bind-Off (optional); tapestry needle.
Gauge 17 sts and 20 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Body Lace pattern with 2 strands of yarn held together, blocked.
Finished Size 68" (173 cm) long and 13" (33 cm) wide.

Notes

• Wrap is worked with 1 strand of each color held together throughout.
  
• The lace panels can be worked from charts or written instructions. Border chart is worked one time at the beginning of each panel, and Body Lace is worked to desired length.
  
• Wrap is worked in 2 identical pieces from scalloped edge to the center, then grafted together.
  
• When finishing one of the panels, leave a very long tail (about four times the width of the piece) to join the two halves by grafting or 3-Needle Bind-Off.
