Welcome and Palette Discussion with Jenny and Kate
During our first live event, designer Jenny Monteleone and editor Kate Larson discussed how Jenny adapted a traditional weaving motif for knitting, and we dug into the ever-important question of color choice. You can rewatch this session on YouTube at your leisure.
Jenny designed the cowl with Feederbrook Farm’s stunning marls in mind, but you can use any yarn you like. In fact, Kate cast on a Clover Ridge Cowl using a natural cream and gray just to test the pattern, and she can confirm that this design is stunning in a simple palette as well.
