Hazel Tindall was born and raised in Shetland, where she has lived most of her life. She has been handknitting and designing Fair Isle garments and accessories for over 60 years and was Shetland Wool Week’s Patron in 2014. She represented Britain in Minneapolis in 2008 and won the “Fastest Knitter Award” organized by the Craft Yarn Council of America and the UK Hand Knitting Association.
