Anna Husemann, author of Intarsia Knits, is a textile and knitwear designer based in Hamburg, Germany. Her work is all about color, shapes, and materials and how they interact with each other. She creates paper collages and transforms these abstract illustrations into knitted textiles by filling each shape with various materials; the intarsia technique has become her favorite tool.
